SUMMARY:Writers' Circle: Journaling for the Caregiver
DESCRIPTION:Writing is a wonderful way for caregivers to reduce stress and increase coping skills. Through writing your own narrative\, you can record and review your personal experiences. In general\, this allows people to look for thinking patterns\, problem-solve and see things from a new perspective. Journaling helps us gain a greater understanding of our experiences and reclaim our “self.” \nEach week\, we will gather\, share a journaling prompt\, take some personal journaling time\, then re-group to share with one another.

It will be important that you can join via computer or tablet (not cell phone). The sessions include quite a bit of shared screen content\, and requires your ability to share a screen as well in part of the training process. \nTraining is delivered by an experienced facilitator\, and includes a facilitator manual\, participant workbook and supplemental resources. \nFor further information\, please contact Johnna Lowther at: jlowther@caregivers.smwsites.com.
