Writers’ Circle: Journaling for the Caregiver

This event has passed.

Fall writers’ circle; participants receive a journal prompt, write, then share their thoughts with one another

About this event

Writing is a wonderful way for caregivers to reduce stress and increase coping skills. Through writing your own narrative, you can record and review your personal experiences. In general, this allows people to look for thinking patterns, problem-solve and see things from a new perspective. Journaling helps us gain a greater understanding of our experiences and reclaim our “self.”

At each workshop, we will gather, share a journaling prompt, take some personal journaling time, then re-group to share with one another.
