Learn strategies for self-care and staying mentally healthy as a caregiver during this challenging time.

Being a caregiver is more difficult than ever right now. In these unprecedented times, practicing self-care and being in tune with your own needs is key to managing the challenging circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic while taking care of someone else.

In this workshop you will learn about:

• the impact of care-giving on health and wellbeing

• strategies for self-care while managing the needs of the person you are caring for

• how to stay mentally healthy as a caregiver during this difficult time

• creating a plan to maintain self-care practices over time

Empowerment for Caregivers is for individuals who are involved with long‐term care, including those who work with individuals with developmental disabilities, aging parents, sick children, and/or anyone who require personal care on a daily basis.
