
Join us on May 19th as we welcome music therapist Tiffany Sparrow for a workshop on music and wellbeing!
What exactly is music therapy? Tiffany will briefly describe the music therapy profession and explain four of the main reasons why music can be such a useful wellness tool, including some of the research about its benefits.
She will then offer you six key tips and ideas to help you deepen your ability to use music and sound with awareness and intention for your own wellbeing.
About Tiffany Sparrow MA, MTA, NMT, RYT
Tiffany Sparrow is an accredited music therapist (MTA) specializing in mood, eating disorders and neurological rehabilitation. She offers music interventions with counseling and meditation to facilitate emotional balance, pain reduction, speech rehabilitation, relaxation and wellness. Tiffany recently completed her masters (MA) in Ethnomusicology at the University of Alberta where she researched the health benefits of group chanting (kirtan). Tiffany is also a multi-instrumentalist and respected singer-songwriter in the Edmonton community, performing her relaxed folk-roots originals with curated covers.
