Get Moving! (Online)

This event has passed.

We all know how important daily exercise is for our health; but let’s be honest… we don’t always enjoy doing it. What if pleasant memories from our past could inspire physical movement for us today? This program offers fun and playful approaches to getting fit!

Join Melissa DeSmet, a Calgary based physiotherapist to experience new ways of enjoying the most natural movements of our day. Using elements like guided visualization and incorporating your own memories, Melissa will lead participants through simple, creative, and fun exercises for both the body and the mind. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join.

What you will need:

  • Comfortable clothing
  • Water bottle
  • A pool noodle and a balloon (optional)
  • An open mind

Sessions will take place online though the platform Zoom
