This event has passed.

The CORE Caregivers Group is excited to present the inaugural discussion forum on Supporting family caregivers during COVID-19 and beyond. Several presenters will share their findings on the impacts of COVID-19 on caregivers and lead a discussion on supporting family caregivers.

Presenters include:
• Dr. Jasneet Parmar and Dr. Sharon Anderson, University of Alberta, are principal investigators of the study: Alberta Family Caregivers: Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic
• Dr. Gwen McGhan and Dr. Deirdre McCaughey, University of Calgary, are principal investigators of the study Impact of COVID-19 on Family Caregivers of People Living with Dementia.

This community-led group intends to connect a network of professionals across Alberta who encounter caregivers in their work and will offer resources as well as educational and collaboration opportunities geared towards the challenges and needs of caregivers, and ways that professionals can best support them in their own communities.
