Become a licensed facilitator to deliver the award-winning COMPASS for the Caregiver program in your community. In three online training sessions, we will prepare you to support caregivers in a very meaningful way.
COMPASS can be delivered both in-person and online, depending on the caregiver community. As a facilitator, you will cover four modules of content for caregivers ranging from caregiver stress and mental well-being to navigating the system to find resources.
These groups usually have no more than 10 caregivers. Each participant will receive the COMPASS for the Caregiver manual, and you will guide them through the course using your own facilitator version of the manual.
COMPASS Facilitator Training takes place over three, Monday sessions:
Monday, May 1 | 1 to 4 p.m.
Monday, May 8 | 1 to 4 p.m.
Monday, May 15 | 1 to 4 p.m.
Training is delivered by an experienced facilitator, and includes a facilitator’s manual, participant workbook and supplemental resources.
What you will learn/receive in your training:
- Participant curriculum manual
- Facilitator’s guide and best practices
- Program policies and procedures
- Licensing agreement for agency partners
- Options for agency partners to reduce costs to participants
- Facilitator honorarium requests
- Marketing and promotion support/ideas
- Supplemental resources
